actually it isn't your strength it consits of your approach and how fast you swing and flip your wrist
Re: Actually, muscle strength is important as numerous muscles are used to stabilize your shoulder and accelerate/decelerate your swing, among other factors. A few muscles in spiking include your pectoralis major, deltoid, triceps, abdominals, quads, etc. Lack of strength can cause injury, such as a rotator cuff tear.
