Oh yes it is. I bench press that much. But I am a boy. Plus I am 15 years old. I am 5'9. I was 5'8 last year when I started bench pressing.
10 pounds
100-120 pounds if he has been lifting before. I not, 80-90 pounds.
A standard Olympic weightlifting bar typically weighs 20 kilograms (44 pounds) for men and 15 kilograms (33 pounds) for women. Specialty bars, like those used in powerlifting or bench pressing, may vary in weight.
Your bench is weak but your squat is good
15%/100% * 230 = 0.15*230 = 34.5
somewhere between 1 and 2 times your weight 1 time your weight average fitness 2 times your weight very impressive fitness This is wrong. If you bench your weight, that's really good. I'm 15 and I weight 150 pounds and I'm 5'9". I bench 165 and this is considered very good for my age and weight.
If this twelve year old is on steriods, maybe. I wish I could bench that much and I'm 15! Buddy i am 12 will be 13 in 5 months i bench 175 i am 5,3 135 lbs my dad is a body builder we bench all this time.
That's.... like being on steroids. When I started lifting, I was 15 and could only bench 100 pounds. I weighed probably 130lbs, but still. Get off the power pellets kid. :)
Work out your triceps consistently. Do about 3 sets of dips or some tricep related exercise and your bench press should go up significantly. Mine went up drastically by 15 pounds.
All people have different body structures. If they have broader shoulders then 25- 45 pounds and if there more slim the 15-20
15 pounds is 15 pounds!
