Larry Allen has bench pressed 700lbs under powerlifting regulations;and is known to have the highest bench press in all sports. this answer is factually innacurate. The reputed 700 pound bench press was a wide-grip, shallow-range, ASSISTED bench press and did not adhere to powerlifting regualtions. It quite simply was an illegitamate lift. Drop the number buy almost 100 pounds and it becomes a possibility...

The most bench press reps by an NFL player is 43 by Larry Allen of the San Francisco 49ers. WRONG: Brodrick Bunkley of Florida State maxed out at 44 reps in 2006, he was later taken by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 14th overall pick. Erik Howard of the New York Giants had 44 reps in 1986 In 2007 Mike Kudla of Ohio State benched 225lbs. 45 times. New Record (set in 2009): DT '''Will Johnson (6-4, 281) posted a remarkable 47 reps on the bench press and an impressive 5.07 40 time. He definitely caused a buzz at the Michigan pro day and should sign with a team soon after the draft.- National Football Post'''

"I believe it was a fullback on the bengals. He maxed out at like 775"

Remember to always pass to the left, because you're high. No fullback for Cincy or any other team came close to benching 775. Larry Allen's 700 was bounced and the spotters helped pull it up. some Chris Snee for the G-Men is very strong. (615 raw)
