What should you wear for paintball?

Firstly don't bring anything you are not prepared to get muddy or dirty. If you are playing in the woods, camouflage is a great idea weatherer it is BDU or hunters camo. If you don't have and don't want to rent camouflage it is suggested you wear earth toned colors so you don't stick out like a sore thumb. Any color is good for indoors.

Your amount of clothing should be what you would wear if it was one season colder. Long paints like jeans or sweatpants are good, and a long-sleeve shirt with a hooded jacket are good even in the summer, because they will absorb paintball impacts. For shoes, boots are the best option, unless you know there is no mud or its mostly open space, then sneakers are fine. Bring thick socks, even in the summer.

A hat is very valuable for absorbing impact, along with gloves and a neck covering. Also many men play with a hard cup and a chest protector is suggested for women.

A paintball mask is essential for eye and face protection. Other than that, it depends. If you are gonna be playing in the woods, then you may choose to wear camouflage to help conceal you. If youre going to be playing indoors, then you can wear anything really. If you want, you can wear a couple layers of clothes to help dampen the impact of the paintball, but there really is no specific clothing to wear

My honest answer is that it depends. For speed ball i would recommend wearing lighter breathable clothing that your not going to get to hot in and won't mind running around in. Paintball pants and jersey are great but could be expensive. A great alternative to paintball pants is actually roller hockey pants all though they aren't as light they offer a great amount of padding. and a MUST for speed ball is knee pads you never want to slide in to a bunker and find out there's a nail on the ground that ends up hitting your knee it hurts and ruins the rest of the day. and another must is a mask it is required for all fields and although they are almost always available for rental i would buy your own because of the cheaply made mask the fields provide.

well, i speedball, so i usually wear proto 09 pants and a dye c9 jersey with a t shirt under it, if iu dont have that i suggest a long sleeve shirt with a sweatshirt over it and shorts with sweatpants over them

If you are playing Paintball in the woods (woodsball) It is recommended that you wear camouflage (BDU's, hunters camo). You also should bring a hat or head covering to protect parts of the head the mask does not cover. Boots and gloves are also a good idea. You should first determine what you would wear normally weather-wise, and then add slightly more clothing for added protection that you can take off later.

If you are playing and don't want to spend money on paintball jerseys pants, sweatpants a long sleeved shirt and a hooded jacket are fine.

For beginners, jeans and a long sleeve shirt are fine. Camouflage is helpful for woodsball, but only if they are matching patterns. Boots are a great idea in most terrains. Short sleeves and shorts will increase mobility, but it will hurt more when hit in unprotected areas. After you've played enough, you might want to invest in either a pair of fatigues if you primarily play in the woods, or a speedball jersey and paints for speedball.
