It depends on how long an individual has been training, how naturally strong they are, what (if any) steroids/artificial agents they are using, their diet etc. All this aside, the average Joe should be able to bench the bar (20kg) plus about 25kg on each side for good set of 8 to 12 reps after about a 6 months of guided training. There is no specific age or height, i started when i was 13 and i was 5'11" and i could bench 115 on my first day.
It is not easy to answer this question... I believe that you should be able to bench at least your weight, perhaps not right away but within 2 to 3 months. Until then you should try and lift 60% of your weight for at least 3 sets of 10.
