One way is to execute the proper basics. Have the correct grip and correct arm movement to use your body to your full potential.

The other is to have a conditioning program to follow. Strengthening your legs, core, triceps and back will surely help with your throw.

Grip it across (or against) the seams. Gripping it with the seams will make it curve.
