4.3 STUDS

(a) Studs of players' boots must conform with the IRB Specifications (Regulation 12).

(b) Moulded rubber multi-studded soles are acceptable provided they have no sharp edges or

ridges.

then there should be no reason not to wear them. However, schools, colleges and universities can apply their own safe guards - but these will not be carried through to the IRB registered games.
