Aerobic Endurance is when the heart and lungs must provide oxygen to the muscles in order to be performed for long periods of time. In other words the amount of oxygen you body receives whilst playing the game.
You need this mainly to run around for the full four quarters of the game but you also need good muscular endurance to be able to keep up with your offender (if playing defense and to make strategic game play. Such as braking away from a defender to make a screen or being able to keep opposing players out of the key area.

∙ 14y agobecasue you would need a good workout before you can play Basketball this involves sidestepping (ect ect). and if you don't stretch off you will feel all shaky when your in the zone

∙ 12y agoyou need to have good cardivascular endurance in basketball because it envolves a lot of running. The better cardivascular endurance you have , the faster you can run
you need aerobic endurance for cardio to be able to dance and have a more structured dance move
a footballer will need aerobic endurance because: a match lasts 90minutes and they will need to be active for much of his time. they need to be able to perform at a high level for the whole match. many injuries occur when a footballer gets tired- therefore they need good levels for aerobic endurance to reduce the possibility of an injury.
cardiovascular endurance usually, but it depends on the exercise really. aerobic exercise requires movement that uses oxygen in the body. That means that the longer you can do the aerobic exercise, such as running, the stronger your heart is.
you need it to help you swim longer :)x
