in longboarding bearings don't make that much difference (providing they are clean and oiled) unless you are racing slalom or downhill were every 0.001 of a second counts.
so cheap well made easy to clean bearings are the best e.g. bones reds or bilitins are great simple to clean and change.
If the trucks use 8mm bearings (probably do, most of them do) then yes.
Yes, just swap your bearings from skate wheels to longboard wheels, its all the same.
Most likley because the plastic cage that holds your bearings in place is cracked. Try replacing your bearings.
tri flow is good, DON'T USE THICK LUBRICANTS LIKE WD 40!
primarily it is bad for the bearings. it wont destroy your longboard, but it isn't good for it.
For the most part they should, unless the trucks say it needs 10 mm bearings then it will fit. Most trucks use 8 mm bearings.
There are 8mm bearings and 10mm bearings. Unless the truck says that it needs 10mm bearings (ex. Bear 1052 trucks, the 10 is for the bearings and 52 for baseplate angle) it will use 8mm bearings. Most precision trucks use 10 mm bearings.
You can use a longboard on any type of wave but gently breaking waves are best.
over time the grip will fade away but almost overnight the bearings will get rusty

there is no best longboard for anything there just different but a good crusing board must be quiet smooth and easy to push.
you can clean and grease the bearings also i recommend not ridding in the rain because it causes delam. which means the plies split.
