It's not actually the size of the skateboard that matter's, its the ball bearings the wheels have inside them. Cheap bearings that come with cheap Walmart/warehouse boards almost always go slowly, were as proper bearings from your local skate shop will go a lot faster.
I believe that longboards travel faster than regular trick boards because I have found that the wheels on the longboard are looser (almost like someone put grease on them). And yes, I do have both types of boards. Also, i do live at the bottom of a big hill so i would probably know. Lastly, you should say ...faster trick board or longboard? because a longboard is a type of skate board.
A longboard is altogether faster because a longboard has larger wheels and bearings... so it can go more distance with less speed. For example, if you roll a penny and a quarter two rotations the quarter's going to go farther than the penny because a penny is smaller; so imagine skateboard wheels/bearings like pennys and longboard wheels/bearings like quarters. Longboards are also going to go faster because they are meant for downhill because they are more stable because of their length and wide trucks; wheras skateboards are normally meant for not serious downhill runs, more ramps and street obstacles.
Hope this helped!
not wery different but yes it is different.much faster and easier to turn.
Yes
The shape of a longboard was invented before but the trucks and wheels were small like those of a skateboard. Early boards didn't have pop.
The cold can ruin a skateboard, heat can also ruin a skateboard.
The longboard skateboard is a variant of the skateboard and is commonly used for cruising, downhill, slalom, and racing. Longboard skateboards are available at sports shops nationwide and online at sites such as Amazon, Ebay and Craigslist.
Longboards
its called a longboard
Liam does scootering!
e-bay
yeah, you'll need risers
They are similar, but not exactly the same. A skateboard is shorter, and provides an opportunity to perform a greater variety of tricks. As has been testified to me, a longboard is easier to ride, as it is longer, and glides incredibly easily.
loose trucks and a wide board
