120 pounds
Well, that's a pretty small linebacker. I'm an 8th grader from Oregon, and am 5'10" 150. I play inside linebacker. I bench 160, so I'd say you should be benching 120 minimum (your body weight) but 130 is a good goal.
that all depends on your bady structure build and how often and how much you exersice but do not push yourself over your own limit... I would say for a guy 80-150lbs and girl 40-120 I agree somewhat with the above answer, but 120 for a freshman girl is ALOT. Any woman who can legitamately bench press that, regardless of her age, has my wicked respect. I know some guys who, as freshmen, could bench press 345 pounds, while weighing 240. But others I knew bench pressed only the bar, so i agree there is a wide range of capability. I would say that a very impressive bench press for a freshman male is 200 pounds and up. For a girl, 90 pounds and up is similiarly impressive. Boy, the above poster sure has some high expectations in the bench press..... >.<
no not really i am 12 and i bench 100
About 500 calories for one hour work out with little breaks. Bench press say 155 pounds; Curl Bar 70 to 80 lbs; low back pull about 120 pounds. etc.,
100-120 pounds if he has been lifting before. I not, 80-90 pounds.
There are several factors. A persons body weight and age are a pretty good indicator. This is very general of course. To be a good bench presser its usually a matter of simple practice and technique. However if you can rep your own weight you are most likely above average. If you can max out at 100lbs past your weight thats also a good indicator your pretty strong. Ex: 175 body weight x 10 or 275 at one rep max.
40-50 push upps, 100 pound bench press for most 14 year olds. im 13 and can do 100 push upss and bench 140 but im a helth freak, but only 4,11 and 120 pounds(pure strenght),
It all depends on how much you weigh. The ratio between how much you bench and how much you weigh is the most important aspect. If you weigh 120 and bench 185 its fantastic because your benching 1 1/2 times your weight. Anything over your own body weight is impressive.
Not much, at least in my area, I recently sold a really good large bench model and could only get 120 for it. - Originally I paid 349 ( about 15 years ago.)
120 pounds is 120 pounds. You do not need to change pounds into pounds because there is no difference. The abbreviation for "pound" is "lb."
120 pounds = 120 lbs.
