muscle strength to use the stick speed- beat the other team down the field you need strength because to be able to push pass or drive the ball, etc. you need strong arm muscles (most likely your triceps and biceps)
I am a AAA hockey player, they do not require us to wear hockey shorts, but hockey pants are a neccesity.
Helmet,Gloves,Shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin gaurds, skates, stick, puck, jersey, and hockey socks For field hockey you only need shinguards, mouthguard, a stick and a uniform, unless you want to be a goalie.
To play floor hockey, one would need a lightweight plastic ball, or a heavier ball. Sometimes a normal hockey stick, field hockey or bandy sticks are required.
I think every player needs stick skills. Usually the left side field players need strong stick skills because they use reverse stick more. *This is not fact! But in my six years playing, this is my opinion*
Well , when you are using a big stick it will drag in the dirt but on ice it will just slide so it will be harder to move in the field so the answer is no.
I think you shoould go with Gymnastics and field hockey it will work I know it will!!!
Defiantly hand-eye coordination, passion for the sport, and a great attitude! :D
you need 2 sticks and then you have to hit it in the other players goal. (it is a 2 player game)
There are no educational requirements for becoming a professional hockey player. However, tons of training goes into becoming a professional hockey player. You likely would have to play hockey your entire life, practicing nearly every day. You have to not only be the best at the sport but have great strength and stamina. You would have to do cross-training to get these skills.
you need muscles to move...
