Lets say hypothetically you are a Basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. It would be in your contract to stay in Los Angeles for as long as the contract requires. That meaning you could not leave the city without breaking the contract. If you do leave the city it would be breaking the contract do to a "traveling violation"

It is impossible to travel when inbounding. While there are space restrictions for a throw-in, the thrower is not required to maintain a pivot foot or observe any of the other restrictions of the traveling rule.
