Doing plyometrics and leg work-outs will help. Try a workout that incorporates exercises such as lunges, wall-sits, squats, calf raises (can be done on stairs, I've found these most effective), etc. Even praticing/working on your approach can be beneficial.
You get healthy, increases strength and vertical jump
I think that would be Yumilka Ruiz.
Conditioning in volleyball can range from running a mile everyday before practice to doing box jumps to improve the vertical jump. Most conditioning is focused to strengthen the arms, legs, and core of the athlete.
Vertical jumps are jumps where the athlete propels themselves upwards as high as possible, with a focus on height achieved rather than distance. These jumps are commonly used in sports like basketball and volleyball to improve explosiveness and power. Variations include the squat jump and the tuck jump.
Vertical Jump is when they (scorers )measure you and then you jump as high as you can. The winner is the person who jumped the furthest.
spike
to get you jump higher and get exercise.
Height, Strength, being able to jump are all advantages of volleyball
Squats!
You can hit i volleyball by bumping it, serving it, spiking it, jump serving, roll shot, roll serve, and jump roll
I don't see how falling would increase your vertical jump. You are risking an injury when you fall.
Falling does not increase your vertical jump but does increase the risk of an injury that can create a barrier to your vertical jump.
