Out of bounds in Basketball is passed the line at the end of the court. If a person with the ball stands out of bounds the other team gets the ball. Someone on Team A is on offence (they have the ball) and someone on Team A knocks the ball out of bounds, Team B gets the ball. But if Team A was on offence and Team B knocks the ball out of bounds, Team A keeps the ball.

When the ball makes contact with anything that is out of bounds (this includes touching the out of bounds line) it is considered 'out of bounds'. If the ball goes out of bounds in the air and is pulled back, it is not considered out of bounds.

Anywhere one the field is 'in bounds'. If a Baseball is hit anywhere over the fence, anywhere on the field, it is out of bounds. If it is hit over the fence in the outfield it is a home run. Anywhere else it is just a foul ball.

Out of bounds means on the outer side of the line. If the ball touches the line, it is considered in.

what if the ball hit by our opponent goes out of bound before we touches the net on our way down??

Inbounds means within the dimensions of the playing court. Out of bounds means outside the dimensions of the playing court.

A puck (or ball in soccer) is considered out of bounds when it touches the netting (big net to protect spectators) or goes over the glass.
