There are many ways of producing technical foul in Basketball
1. Arguing with referee or swearing at him. This happens when a player does not agree with a call the referee has made.
2. Pushing or making intentional contact with an opposing player. This usually happens when the players have something going on between them and they produce the anger in the game.
There are many other examples:
- The moving pick
- Faking being fouled (flopping)
- Fighting or threatening to fight
- Illegal substitution or entering the game at an impermissible time
- Intentionally hanging on the basket at any time (except to prevent an injury)
- Kicking the basketball
- Jumping on a player to gain a height advantage
- Removing the jersey or pants
These are just some of the many causes of a technical foul!
a techical foul is when you say yell at the ref perposly push some one down yell at a coach and or player ect while a flagrant foul is you accidently hit someones hand or touch arm or run into them
That depends if you want to be the one causing it or the one who wants to shoot because of a technical. To cause it all you have to do is foul purposely and make sure the ref sees it. As well as slamming the ball after a score by the other team or cursing in general to show unsportsmanship , there are really many ways to get a technical foul which i suggest you dont bother getting. In order to be the one getting fouled provoked the one you want to cause the foul. You can also try to make a regular foul seem intentional and very aggresice like.
They're all worth one point.
A technical foul in basketball in one the dose not involve contact and is a rule violation. Spectators, people on the bench, coaches, even entire teams can be found guilty of technical fouls even prior to the start of play. The severity is considered greater than a personal foul but dose not rise to a flagrant foul.
It's a free throw worth one point after someone on the other team gets a technical foul which are given out when a player or coach acts out of conduct such as yelling at the ref, talking trash, taunting, showboating, etc. In the NBA, a player shoots one technical shot for one point. In high school and NCAA (college) they get two technical shots for two points. In the NBA if both players/coaches on separate teams both get a technical foul it's a "double technical" and no free throws are shot.
yes it is. well actually i have no idea, but technically you are not meant to have more than 5 men on the court at once, so if you put 6 men on it would be technically incorrect, so it is probably a technical foul.just joshing ya! having 6 men on the court is a technical foul!may i just draw attention to the fact that not only men can play basketball. women can too!!! for gods sake, this is the 21st century, people!!!
you still get one short no matter where you at on the court. a technical foul is not like a regular foul. it's commonly called for yelling at the ref's cause their was a big issue last year in the NBA finals. so you will see tech fouls more often in the 2010 season.
The team who just was fouled gets the ball at the free throw line, shoots the free throws, the the team who just shot the free throws gets the ball out of bounds close to where the foul happened. In example: Say you get pushed from the back at the top of the key. You will shoot two free throws, then you will get the ball straight across from where the foul took place, on the side lines. Under the basket technical fouls are under the basket out of bounds. There like a regular foul in where you take it out. Different in the free throws because no one is around you.
One name is a scoop shot, which is a foul.
There are two types ... technical and personal. There are flagrant fouls, which are fouls intended to hurt another player. Shooting fouls are physical contact during a shot attempt. Technical fouls are arguments or complaints with the referee. Intentional fouls are fouls that are done to make someone shoot free throws instead of holding the ball, mostly done at the end of close-scored ball games.
The technical name for acetic acid is ethanoic acid.
I don't think you can i have never gotten one ever. It's also very rare to get a charge as well.
