well, it is important to have excellent balance for obvious reasons. building strong abdominal muscles can help with your balance. also work on leg stretches to do the more advanced stunts. try doing the butterfly, figure 4's, touching your toes, and even doing the stunt on the ground. this works with stunts such as the arabesque, scale, and chin chin.
^^^^ lets try and make this simple. you can do your splutz no both sides for at least 25 seconds and more, wall sits to improve your leg muscles, you can do wall splitz, and so many more to name. Then once you have done all that you should be ready for doing some extreme stunting.
Cheerleading Stretches help almost every part of your body, there are multiple stretches you can do with your legs, arms abs and back. With cheerleading stretches you will become slimer and stronger.
what about it? do you mean that do you need to be flexible to cheer? if so, the answer is YESSS!! especially flyers. they need to pull heal stretches and scorpions... and as for others, they need to be flexible for things like jumps. like toe touches and herkies etc...
any gymnastic stretches would probably be best.
practice your splits. especially straddle, for toe touch.
Usually a light girl, or a girl whome can hold her weight in the air. A girl can be 140 lbs and be a flyer if she can hold her own weight.
you become more flexible in cheerleading by practicing outside of the gym and stretching at least three times a day. Do all the stretches your gym or team does at practices and stay in the splits position for about 5minutes during a commerical or something.
Totally. Cheerleading causes way More issues. Soccer causes only SOME ISSUES. However, Cheerleading, Flyers are thrown up in the air. CHEERLEADING IS WAY MORE DANGEROUS! i think that they are both very dangerous sports. no need to say one is more dangerous then the other. both have very big risks. and have seen many injuries from both cheerleading and soccer.
In most cheer squads the amount of chearleaders range from 12-25. This allows stunts (with flyers, base supports and spotters) to take place safely.
Cheerleading, one word.
ella hace cheerleading that means she does cheerleading in spanish
