Usually a light girl, or a girl whome can hold her weight in the air. A girl can be 140 lbs and be a flyer if she can hold her own weight.
In cheerleading, a "flyer" is typically a team member who is lifted into the air during stunts. While there's no strict height requirement, flyers are usually lighter and shorter than their bases to make lifting easier. Generally, most flyers are between 4'8" and 5'3", but the ideal height can vary based on the team's dynamics and the strength of the bases. Ultimately, it depends on the specific needs of the cheerleading squad and the physical abilities of the team members.

Infinity Titan cheer shoes are designed specifically for cheerleading, but they are not exclusively categorized as flyer shoes. While they provide the necessary support and grip for all cheerleaders, including flyers, they are suitable for various cheerleading roles. Their lightweight design and flexibility make them a popular choice among cheer athletes.
Totally. Cheerleading causes way More issues. Soccer causes only SOME ISSUES. However, Cheerleading, Flyers are thrown up in the air. CHEERLEADING IS WAY MORE DANGEROUS! i think that they are both very dangerous sports. no need to say one is more dangerous then the other. both have very big risks. and have seen many injuries from both cheerleading and soccer.
In most cheer squads the amount of chearleaders range from 12-25. This allows stunts (with flyers, base supports and spotters) to take place safely.
talk with your principal about having one for your school sports teams, ask him/her to gather some girls how would like to cheer and ask to have auditions.ask your your principal if you can hang flyers around the school and make petitions to tryouts. hope this helps.
