some people say yes and some people say no.. in Basketball yes, in football yes, in tennis my opinion is no. tenis is more about how you move about the court, your skill, strategy, and your energy level.

To an extent, height will matter. It will give you an advantage, but a huge height is not required. Skill is the most important thing to a basketball player. Nate Robinson and Spud Webb are great examples. They are both under 5'10" and they seemed to do fine in their NBA careers.
