Schumacher made his Formula One debut with the Jordan-Ford team at the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix, driving car number 32 as a replacement for the imprisoned Bertrand Gachot. He was an active F1 driver till the year 2006. He was part of the Benetton F1 team and also Scuderia Ferrari. His time with Ferrari was the most fruitful where he won 5 world titles between 2000 and 2004.

At the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix with the Jordan team. It was a pretty slow car, and he impressed by qualifying seventh. The car failed on the first lap of the race though, and he never returned to the Jordan team because he was quickly snapped up by Benetton.

Michael has been in Formula between 1991 Belgium GP - End of 2006 Season. Then he returned at start of Formula 1 2010 Season and has now officially retired from Formula 1 in end of the 2012 Formula 1 Season.
