Most Seasons as QB

Brett Farve just passed Johnny Unitas, playing the most seasons as QB with the Minnesota Vikings during the 2009 season.

George Blanda played as the oldest QB for the Oakland Raiders at the age of 43 (1970) and had one of the most incredible seasons in the history of the game. Click on the 'George Blanda' link on this page to read all about it and about the man that played, as a placekicker and a darn good one for 26 seasons, until the age of 48.

Brett Favre As of Nov. 13, 2008 he had a record of 167-96 regular season wins and a 12-10 record in playoff games. His total W/L record is 179-106 in 285 games. He played an additional 70 preseason games going 38-32. Brett Favre did not play in the 1st and 4th preseason games for the New Jersey Jets in 2008 due to the trade, ending a consecutive start streak covering 17 years and a total of 351 games. Preseason doesn't count, so his consecutive start streak is still ongoing.
