In my personal opinion, I think that kids need good grades to play sports. If kids played really well in sports, but had terrible grades, they wouldn't do too well in real life. The only thing they could get a job in is sports, and if the kid doesn't make it into sports, they really can't make it into any other job because they didn't learn anything and got terrible grades in school. Plus, sport are 80% mental. If kids didn't get good grades, they wouldn't do too well in sports, either, because sports use mental abilities, which is 4/5ths of the game.

No because some kids turn to Athletic event bacause they are not very acedemic and they should not be told to be good at the one they just turned away from. They should just have good effort into thier work.
