I've seen a couple of moves that could be considered a double fist block.
There is the X-block where the arms are crossed at the wrists and tight fists are used. One interpretation is that it represents a block and a punch that are combined together.
The other would be where the two fists are next to each other, usually in a double high block. This could represent a double punch to break the hold on one's collars.
In Karate I am impregnable to catch my partners fist.
The duration of Double the Fist is 1560.0 seconds.
No. There was no stunt double for 2010 Karate Kid.
Yes. Upstate Karate is an affiliate of RCJ Machado BJJ out of the Dallas area. Carlos Machado is the son-in-law of Ray Thompson, the owner of Upstate Karate. Carlos holds the highest BJJ belt rank in the southwest U.S.
Double the Fist was created on 2004-05-21.
The first defensive technique I learned was a lower block. This is done by gathering the fist at the the opposite ear (i.e. right fist, left ear; left fist, right ear) and sweeping downward so the arm is just outside of your right (or left) side at about a 45 degree angle from your body.

Wax on, Wax off is how Mr. Myagi taught Daniel how to do a circle block. The block is one of the cornerstones of Okinawa karate.
It depends on the style of karate, and most styles have more then one. For example, Tang Soo Do has only the parry block (the rest of the "blocks" are actually strikes), yet tae kwon jitsu has low x-block, high block, reverse outside block etc.
Well, Mario actually hits the block with his FIST, which is why he lifts up his fist when he jumps.
