Wayne Gretzky's rookie card is from 1979-80 O-Pee-Chee and Topps.
The O-Pee-Chee card is a Canadian issue and had a much smaller print run than the Topps. Being that hockey is mostly a Canadian sport, all O-Pee-Chee hockey cards are usually more valuable than the Topps counter-issue. O-Pee-Chee is valued at about $900 where as the Topps is about $550.
if mint around $350-$400, corners and face of card need to be perfect
No. An autograph devalues a card. It makes the card worth as much as the autograph, and a fake autograph is worth nothing.
how much is a santonio topps rookie card worth
Gretzky has only ever signed one rookie card of his....and he kept it. $4.00 US
1978
100 bucks
Rookie card: 1979 Topps Wayne Gretzky Rookie (#18) PSA Graded MINT 9 is valued at a minimum of $425 unsigned. Signed, it speculatively would add no more than an additional $250 at current market prices. Based upon the frequency of items signed by Gretzky and the fact he is still alive, only means the value will not rise for some time, even on a card in perfect condition.
It's worth a few dollars, if someone wants to pay it. Because no Racers cards of Gretzky were produced in the 1970s. There's a "National Sports Card" card that was mass-produced in the early 1990s, and some crooked dealers tried to sell it as a "1978 rookie." It's not. Gretzky's best cards are the 1979-80 Topps and OPC cards (OPC is valued higher), as well as an oversized 1979 Sportscaster card that's pretty sweet.
You must be talking about the 1991 Topps Which is not his rookie... so that card is worth about 25 cents
Like 2 dollars the most expensive from alex gordon is the 2006 topps rookie card a big error from topps
