a cartwheel with no hands is... A SIDE AERIAL.
This would be a cartwheel performed with no hands.
If you mean cartwheel as in the gymnastics move, then it is very easy to do a cartwheel. Begin by putting your hands on the ground and kicking over. Then, as you get more comfortable, try starting without your hands already on the ground. Make sure to keep you legs straight! Also, a good cartwheel ends facing the opposite way then turning. Hope you get your cartwheel soon. (:
Its called an Ariel
Well there really aren't any skills in gymnastics that are done directly side ways other than a cartwheel, Aeriel and an Arabian. First, make sure you can do a cartwheel on the ground really good. Then while on the trampoline practice a cartwheel from a STANDING position. I emphasize standing for safety. It would be best if you have a net around your trampoline and someone outside with you so in case you get hurt they will know. Then once you are familiar with the way a cartwheel feels on a trampoline try doing a cartwheel without any hands, this is known as an Aeriel. After that you can start working on an Arabian which is basically a round-off without any hands.
A flip is forward almost like a sumersalt in the air and an aerial is a cartwheel in the air (without using your hands).
No it might be harder as you have more waight on your hands but not really
An Ariel is actually a cartwheel without hands. Some people say it's a round off with no hands but in an arial you keep your legs apart, in a round off your legs are together.
1st: warm up 2nd: have a supervisor (make sure you dont ask him or her to spot you cause you dont use a spotter in this flip you just put your hands down if you need to) 3rd: run and do what you would do to do a cartwheel 4th: then do a cartwheel but dont put your hands down p.s. you can put your hands down if you want to though if you don't feel comfortable but usaully on the first try you will probably put your hands down when your really close just keep practicing!
In gymnastics, a cartwheel is used to travel in a straight line across the mat while keeping the body sideways and can be performed with both, one or no hands.
do you mean a backflip as in a back tuck? (which would be without hands) or back flip as in back hand spring? (which would be with hands) if you mean backtuck its just called a cartwheel back tuck bvut if you mean with back hand spring then it is just cartwheel back hand spring hope that helps.!
Personally, I grab my ankle of the leg that stays on the ground and you follow through like it is a cartwheel, you can still put your hands on the ground, but the key to this dance move is that you are only lifting one leg off the ground and it looks like a cartwheel.
