11 years old
A 14-year-old boy can lift weights just like an adult can. He may not be able to lift as much, but lifting weights can help him build muscle.
well just do what u normally do in gym. Dont have to lift weights why bother.?:)
if you do lift weights,be sure not to lift to heavy weights........im 11 and i lift weights ,and do push ups,and chin ups.
Yes, if they want to lift weights at 14 that's perfectly fine.
It actually is okay to lift weights at your age. I am a 14 year old girl and i bench press a bunch of weights and i have not stunted my growth. Guys are mad to lift weights I'm not suppose to lift weights but i am strong enough to do it. The answer to you is yes.
Most gyms say that you should be 14 before lifting weights This is because your muscles are not developed enough as a child.
i am positive! they are stupid!
You should be about 10 before you start to lift weights, and about 12 before you start trying to really gain muscle and lift heavy.
I can lift 45 to 55 pounds I work out a lot.I think a 11 year old boy should be able to lift 25 to about 30 or 35
You can lift some weights.... do pushups..... anything that is like exercing.
you can lift weights just don't go over the your weight lifting limit
A nine year old boy shouldn't be lifting weights. Without correct methods, you could damage yourself.
bench press and lift weights and start with 25 or 50 ones then work your way up and 4 sets of 25 pushups a day
I think they should eat a whole lot of eggs and a balanced diet
What ever your age, you can lift dumbells. I lift 10kg per arm Comfortably and i am 13, have you tryed picking up weights yet? and if you have how much can you lift? Reply back please.
Of course a 15 year old girl should lift weights! If you are not very athletic, then I suggest you start out with REALLY LIGHT WEIGHTS. Test a light weight, see if you can lift it at least 10 to 15 times. If it's too easy, move up. Too hard, go down. You'll work your way up. And if your worried about bulking up, don't be. It's physically impossible for that to happen without steroids. You will be able to lift the same amount as boys, but your muscles will take up less space. Actually, if you lift weights, you will actually have a really hot body, and still look like you can kick somebody's butt. So, yeah. Lift weights.
Generally, 13 year old children should not be lifting weight. It has been known to halt or alter growth. However, that is not always the case. For those that wish to lift weights, 10-15lb weights are good.
A teenager CAN lift weights of 7 kilograms MAXIMUM. If a teenager lifts heavier weights, it may affect their growth. For example, my cousin has 13 years old, she's a girl, and lifts weights of 6kilograms each.... so yeah, it's not really affective in that case. But if a teenager (13-16 years old) lifts MORE than that, it will affect they're growth. Plus, I recommend that the minimum age of lifting heavier weights is when they are 17 years old or older. Especially boys, that always want to be like, stronger and good-looking when they're lifting weights. :) Hope this helps!
There are too many variables to answer this accurately. How much you lift depends on your body type, gender and activity level. Start with weights that feel heavy to you, but you feel that you can lift without too much struggle. The weights should be difficult for you to lift, but remember: more reps are better than more weight. If you want to work your way up to heavier weights, start out pushing yourself to lift a moderate weight many times.
Depends on how strong they are or how much they are capable of lifting. Some even lift weights in the gym, but it depends.
