In order to stimulate your muscles to grow you have to cause them to do more work than they are used to. The main reason why we build muscle and get stronger is because when we increase the workload and stress on our muscles past what they are used to it forces them to grow in order to adapt to this new stress level.
So in saying that it is important that if you are looking to build muscle you need a workout that is going to stress the muscles as well as hit as many muscle fibers at one time as possible.
Your workouts should consist of mostly compound exercises such as:
Bench Press
Skull Crushers
Military Press
Lunges
Squat
Rows
Clean and Press
Compound exercises will hit the most muscle fibers than any other exercises which means more muscle growth. These exercises should be performed using proper form and should be kept within the 6-10 rep range. This means that if your goal is 8 reps than on your 8th rep it is extremely hard for you to push out that rep.
Rest is also very important, just remember that working out too much will cause overtraining which will in the end cause you to lose muscle instead of gain it. It is recommended that you workout a particular muscle group only once every 5-7 days.
In order to gain muscle you need to work them regardless what you eat or drink.
well if you want to gain muscle is to work out and you don't lose fat
When you do your work out , you do not gain weight , your body uses it to build muscles.
By training your whole body and not worrying about your gunz. I would say you should just work on your upper body. :)
It is best if you give a muscle group at least a day or two of rest to give time to GAIN the muscle. If you lift every day you aren't going to gain good muscle mass.
This depends on the person and the kind of weight lifting you do. The short answer however is that lifting weights should help you to lose fat and gain muscle. If you are lifting heavily in order to gain muscle mass, you will gain weight. However, if you are lifting to get lean muscle, it should help to lose weight.
Any diet that you go on to gain muscle should include a lot of protein. Protein will help build and repair muscles after you work out. P90x is a good workout plan to build muscle.
It depends if you get fat then go on a diet, or if you lift weights, you gain muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat.
Vitamin D is basically needed for other minerals to work within your body like calcium. It does not help you to gain muscle but it is vital. A few minutes outside each day should provide you with a sufficient amount of vitamin D.
You wont gain any muscle if you don't work out... you can gain some weight, most of it will be fat probably if you will gain anything at all.. Gym is best option, don't waste money on supplements if you don't work out...
Yes you most definitely will gain weight if you eat protein and not exercise. If you're working out to gain muscle, this tears your muscle fibers and the protein is used to repair the fibers. If you don't work out, the protein is going nowhere except your hips.
Protein Protein Protein. It will be your #1 friend in helping you gain muscle. After finishing lifting, take in protien. Protien is THE building block for optimal muscle growth.
