Almost anyone can bench press. No one should bench press without a spotter. A person can frequently bench press far more weight than he can press. Many people have practiced bench pressing alone and had the weights drop on their chest. Without a spotter there, they were unable to remove them. As a result they died. For that reason, a lot of places that have weights do not have benches for bench pressing. It is not difficult, but too dangerous.
315 for two reps
A male is considered strong if he can bench press his current body weight for 1 rep. Athlete's will typically be able to press their weight x 1.5. Bodybuilders usually press twice their weight.
