The distance from home plate to the pitching rubber in high school is the same as it is for the major leagues - sixty feet, six inches.
no they are not
43 feet
they had to move it back 3ft. its about 42ft
in high school, the distance was changed this year from 40 to 43 feet. this gives the hitters an advantage
60' 6" (standard distance for high school and up)
That depends on the age group college and high school use a 43' distance in fast pitch.
40 feet in high school, 43 feet in college and pro
60 feet
Distance From Home Plate to Pitcher's MoundThe distance from home plate to the pitcher's mound in Little League is 46 feet. High School and up is 60 feet and 6 inches (a mistake in measuring long ago but was left that way). Pitcher's mound distances are ALWAYS measured from the front of the rubber to the rear tip of home plate.
60
60' 6" feet from pitchers rubber to rear of home plate in high school, college, & MLB.
The distance from the pitching rubber to the back tip of home plate in professional, college and high school baseball is 60 ft. 6 in. In some leagues 13-14 will pitch from that same distance, but in some they will throw from 54 ft. as a transition from little league to high school. I would check with your rules for your league and work from there.
