you start in an alert position with your knees bent and your hands out in front of your face with your palms outward. when the shot is taken you launch yourself toward where the ball is going to go as best as you can tell. if diving to the side your body should be outstretched and your arm straight out where the ball is coming to divert it from the goal. if diving forward you should jump toward the ball and land almost on top of it with your hands on the ball and tightly gripping it. hope its helpful,..
