ive never really been a skater, but ive done gymnastics, and gymnastics can be HARD. you have to practice for several, hardcore hours just about every day for beam, bars, floor, vault, and conditioning (about 4 hours total everyday or every other day). skating involves constantly learning, trying, and falling, but im not sure if you have to work out for it. honestly, it all just all depends.

That's a good question. Gymnastics has all those back flips, but skating has spins. Gymnastics takes more flexibility, but guess what? It hurts getting back up after falling on the cold, hard ice. I think Gymnastics is more natural talent and figure skating is more practice. This is a matter of opinion, not fact, and I'm a figure skater, so sorry if this answer seems biased.
hockey is harder physically and mentaaliy gymnastics is a routine and hockey is just a flow of motion and you think of the next play that happens while gymnastics you have a planned start, middle and ending . depending on what position you play in hockey you have to be able to do multiple things as a goalie you have to be able to stretch and have strength to stop pucks as a forward you have to be able to stretch to make certain plays and strength for your shots.
Depends on what kind of dance but gymnastics has dannce in it. there is no gymnastics in dance also gymnastics requires tumbling. So my point is yes.
