The world record is 18 seconds, if I am not mistaken. Mine is 29.86, which is pretty good, but could be better. On my team, I believe the record is 24 seconds for the boys, 25 for the girls. A good time is under 30 seconds, I suppose.
Well, yes, I know the question asked for a woman but I'm going to answer woman and girl. I swim in a swim team where the oldest age group is 21-25 and they're considered the women. When I looked at the individual top times, the average and the best averages were around 24 seconds through 26 seconds. I swim in the age group of 9-10. The average times are around 40-35. I swim a 36.01. I don't swim it too often, though. My usual event is 50 fly which Iswim in 39 seconds. Sorry if this is off topic. Hope this helps!

The answer depends on how many laps you swim.
1500 m freestyle
A two-hundred yard freestyle is an event at a swim meet in which the swimmer will swim the freestyle stroke back and forth across a normal pool four times (twice across, twice back).
freestyle and backstroke.
Swim, freestyle as much as possible.
since i am on the swim team i know there's freestyle, fly, backstroke, and breaststroke.
You swim much faster. The 1650 is more than 3 times the length of the 500. You must pace yourself more during the mile swim.
The world record for the women's 100m freestyle swim is 51.71 seconds, set by Sarah SjΓΆstrΓΆm from Sweden on August 2, 2017.
Swim fast !
Freestyle breastroke backstroke and butterfly
The women's record for the 500 yard freestyle swim is held by Katie Ledecky with a time of 4:24.06 set in 2018.
It's all about practice and what stroke you are doing. Freestyle, if you practice enough, you should be good. Butterfly or breaststroke, you might not quite make the time.
