Technically you're not supposed to come into contact with people but no matter how hard you try someone always gets hit or you yourself is getting hit. I have seen on multiple occasions bloody nosed which were the product of getting hit in the face by some swimmer in the other lane. Also I have seen during relays when someone dives off the block sometimes they kick the swimmer before them in the head. I have also given girls headaches before because when I am swimming down my lane a lot of the time I hit someone in the head...hard. (Maybe it was an accident maybe it wasn't) So I think that swimming was never meant to be a contact sport but has definitely turned into one.

"No, Water Polo is not a contact sport because the ball i heavy and u cannot contact the opponent"
It's just wrong... in so many ways. Water polo is very much so a contact sport, broken bones and sprains are very common as are fouls. There is even a rule that has been created so that minor fouls result in a free throw during which the player cannot shoot at the goal unless beyond the "5 meter" line, otherwise it would be very unfair to the defending team.
No. Just about the only contact you see is when players on the same team run into each other. Other than those instances no. You NEVER see contact in Volleyball.
Technically, no. However, if you are a libero or blocker, you can still receive some wounds from a spike.
