This happens when the offence has a power play; or otherwise known as a kickout via 6 v. 5. The offence sets up a four two defence four on the botton near the gaol and two up top. From there your defence sets three guys in between the four down low and the two men up top on defence play man to man.

A zone defense is where you defend or cover an area of the pool rather than an individual player. If anyone comes into your area of the pool you mark them and leave them when they leave your area of the pool
