Robinson cano wears 11.5 Derek Jeter 11.5 and Dustin Pedroia 11.5
Austin Barnes, the Los Angeles Dodgers catcher, typically uses a Rawlings glove, specifically a 32.5-inch model. This size is common among catchers, as it provides a good balance between control and the ability to catch and throw effectively. However, glove preferences can vary, and players may switch models or sizes based on personal comfort and performance needs.
A small size glove
Little League Rule 1.12 - A catcher must wear a catcher's mitt(not a first basemans mitt or a fielders glove) any shape, size or weight consistent with protecting the hand.
I would at least go with an 11 inch glove and possibly an 11 1/2. The 9 inch gloves are really small and will not be usable in a year or two. I would recommend that you get a glove that is game ready....it is basically broken in for you. I do not typically agree with the charts out there that recommend the small glove for this age.
perfect
