The only rule for 14U Babe Ruth is the bat cannot be a youth Little League approved bat. In other words it must be a big barrel (2 5/8") bat. In 15U the bat must meet high school standards (-3).
I believe he used a 42" 42 oz bat, which would be unheard of nowadays. The average size of Baseball bat in the big leagues today is a 33.5 ".
can u use a -3 aluminum bat in 13-15 babe ruth league play?
Ruth travelled extensively and promoted himself tirelessly, both during and after his career - it's estimated he signed a half-million balls and bats! Provenance is the key to value; the who, what, when and wheres of an item's history. Value is always and function of this documentation. Your bat, assuming the autograph is genuine, is worth between $4,000-12,000 depending on the aforementioned factors. The value of the bat as a promotional bat will rely on what promotion the bat is from. The pictures and News articles will add value, as well as confirm that the bat is from that promotion. The Babe Ruth "autograph" could be an engraving of his signature into the bat as an endorsement. Babe Ruth All America Athletic Underwear came with a "promotional" bat, and features a facsimile engraved Babe Ruth Signature. The bat itself sells for about $400. you might use this price as a yardstick to measure value. See Related links below for more information on the Babe Ruth Underwear promotional bat.
There has been no report of Babe Ruth using drugs.
Try an Easton stealth
Yes.
Yes you can! Especially since it's aluminum... I recommend a composite bat though. Composite bats have way more pop than aluminum bats. I would recommend the cf3 or cf4 for a new bat. Or try the stealth!
Rawlings
you use big barrels
The baseball bat I use weights 29 ounces, while professional bats are usually around 32 to 25 ounces, 35 being more commonly used by power hitters. Babe Ruth used a 52 ounce bat-- yes, that is unbearably heavy by today's standards.
Junior's bat are of Size H. Means under aged players can use this size of Bat
It varies from player to player. Each player chooses the size and weight of his bat. Some players prefer a heavier bat with a thicker barrel. Some players prefer a thinner, lighter bat. And the weight can be distributed differently throughout the bat, so that the handle is thicker or thinner, or the barrel is thicker or thinner. Sometimes players will change bat sizes or shapes depending on how they're feeling at that particular time. Most players use a bat that weighs between 30 and 34 ounces. The bats are usually between 32 and 36 inches long. But again, there is a lot of variation in bat size, weight, and how the weight is distributed throughout the bat (size of the barrel, size of the handle, etc.). For example, Alfonso Soriano is reputed to use a bat that weighs 38 ounces. And Babe Ruth supposedly swung a bat that was 34 inches and weighed 42 ounces.
He didn't he was quite fond of smoking though.
