When you score in Netball, the players go back to their starting positions - the centre player of the team that just scored the goal would stand aside, and the opposing team centre player would take the ball and stand in the circle in the centre 3rd. All other players would resume their starting positions - i.e. GK and GS of both teams on their side of the court, in the semicircle, WA and WD of both teams standing on the line that divides the centre 3rd from the other two 3rds, and GA and GD of both teams standing at their positions, which is pretty much the same as WA and WD. The players will stand there, and when the ref blows the whistle, the game starts again.

What is awarded for repossession in netball?

In netball, a "repossession" occurs when a team gains possession of the ball after it has been lost or turned over. This can happen through interceptions, deflections, or the opponent stepping out of bounds. The team that successfully reclaims the ball is awarded possession and can then restart play from that point. This highlights the importance of defensive skills and strategic play in the game.
