Ramping is when you achieve a set rate of fire, which will then "ramp" your rate of fire to a higher speed.

Basically if you fire faster than a set rate (say 5 balls per second) then the mechanism will switch to fully automatic and "ramp" up the rate of fire to something higher (say 10 balls per second)

Ramping is a form of automatic fire, also called "safe auto." It requires the user to shoot, semi automatically, at a certain rate before the automatic fire kicks in. This prevents singe negligent discharges from firing automatically, as well as overshooting on first sight of players.

There cannot be uncapped ramping. Ramping must have a maximum bps to ramp to. All ramping in capped, for instance at 13 bps. Once you get to the required, lower bps, say 5 bps, then it sends it in to a 15 bos auto mode for as long as you go 5 bps.

Ramping is where you pull the trigger at a low ball per second rate, like 5bps, and once it is hit and continued, it will ramp to the "cap" or maximum bps, like 13.
