Yes, definitely. lots of ice hockey goalies wear two cups. A regular cup jock and then a special goalie cup over top of that. Usually the size and speed of the puck or ball being shot at the net determines wether a goalie would need to wear a goalie cup. Lacrosse and ice hockey goalies wear cups but soccer goalies generally dont wear a cup
Hockey Mask
They wear pads in lacrosse because they could get hurt.
women wear eye protection such as goggles, a mouth guard, gloves(optional), and use their stick or crosse. men wear helments with a face guard, mouth guard, padded gloves, and shoulder, rib, and arm pads, they also use their crosse
A lacrosse goalie wears a chest protector not normal shoulder pads however, a chest protector typically has pads for your shoulders. Some people choose to get a chest protector with removable shoulder pads so you could take them off but I wouldn't take them off. Trust me on the not taking it off part it's coming from a goalie, it kills getting hit in the shoulder.
Goalies don't have to wear arm pads because they don't need to (unless the league u play in requires them, but that is rare) and the pads limit they're range of motion. But really the goalie himself makes the decision as to wear them or not and some like and some dislike.
they have to wear goggles because they dont want to wear helmets so they wear goggles. they need some sort of protection and the girls arent into wearing helmets hence the goggles.
yes you can wear hockey elbow pads for lacrosse
Soccer goalies usually wear a goalie jersey which is usually bright and a different color than the team so they can tell who the goalie is. The wear regular atheletic shorts or padded goalie shorts or pants.(i prefer pants so you dont scratch up you knees real bad when you fall) they also wear padded goalie gloves so they can catch the ball easier. It is also a good idea to wear a mouthguard too
Box lacrosse goalies do wear leg pads made of hard plastic material like a big shin guards, in field lacrosse goalies can only wear soccer style shin guards
