The main things, when purchasing a helmet, to keep in mind are: 1) Function- get the type of helmet for what you will be using it for 2) DOT & Snell Certification for Safety - enough said 3) Fit - If you buy your helmet too large and crash hard, your head won’t be properly protected. 4)Weight - Most all Motocross helmets on the market are lightweight today. Cascade makes the best lacrosse helmets for protection. It is ones opinion to which helmet look the best. I prefer the Pro7
