BCS stands for Bowl Championship Series. The BCS is the system that selects the Division 1-A college football teams to play in the BCS bowl games at the conclusion of each football season. There are 5 BCS Bowl Games:1. Rose Bowl: Pac 10 champ vs. Big Ten champ2. Sugar Bowl: SEC champ vs. BCS selection3. Fiesta Bowl: Big 12 champ vs. BCS selection4. Orange Bowl: ACC champ vs. BCS selection5. BCS National Championship Game: BCS #1 vs. BCS #2 If the champion of one of the 5 major conferences with BCS ties (bold above) is ranked #1 or #2 in the BCS and goes to the BCS NC game, then the bowl that has the tie to that conference may select another team, based on BCS ranking. For example, if USC wins the Pac 10 and is ranked #1 at the end of the regular season, then the Rose Bowl can select another team to play against the Big Ten champion. Otherwise, the specific Bowl must take the champion of the respective conference. In addition, Notre Dame gets an automatic berth if it finishes in the top 8 in the BCS ranking; the Big East champion gets an automatic berth to one of the games; and a non-BCS-conference team ranked in the top 12 (or in the top 16 and ranked higher than at least one BCS conference champion) gets an automatic berth, but only one non-BCS conference team can get a berth each year.

If Oregon State loses to Oregon, USC will get the automatic bid to the Rose Bowl which most likely Ohio State will get the at large bid. Likely BCS bowls OSU will be in are either Orange Bowl or Sugar Bowl.
There's a sensor inside the bowl that tells the water filling mechanism to put more water in the bowl when it gets too low.

It can get complicated: When either the champion of the Big Ten or the Pac 12 are playing for the national title (these conference champions prefer the Rose Bowl and are nearly assured a birth there), the Rose Bowl Committee selects a team to replace the potential national champion. Revenue, quality of potential match ups, travel time and expense all play a role in the Rose Bowl's Committee's decision. Usually, a team to be considered, it must be in the top 14 in the final rankings nationally. There are also loyalty considerations. The Rose Bowl Committee loves to remain loyal to the Pac 12 IF it is a Pac 12 school playing for the national title. In that case, there is a strong preference to replace the Pac 12 potential champion with another Pac 12 school. There is also this caveat - "The Big Ten chamption gets an automactic Bowl bid, PREFERENTIALLY the Rose Bowl. So go figure. It used to be automatic before the BCS.
Each conference champion gets 17.5% of the available tickets, the host team (for Super Bowl XLV, the Cowboys) gets 5%, each of the other 29 teams gets 1.2%, and the NFL keeps 25.2% for corporations, sponsors, charities, and the like.

Each Super Bowl, the winning team gets a certain amount of rings. Each player gets one, then they can give them to whoever they want. The mayor of New Orleans got a ring from the 2010 Super Bowl(GREAT GAME).
In the Ring they pass it on, BUT the new Champion gets a New Championship Belt and the Old Champion gets his belt back.
