Does an RBI count as a hit even if you get out?

It does not count as a hit but it doesn't count against you either. When a sacrifice is scored it doesn't show up in the hits or outs.

If a batter hit a fly ball that was caught out but scored a RBI does it count as an at bat?

Sacrifice bunts and sacrifice flies are not officially counted as "at bats".

Does a player get an rbi for a routine ground out?

Even if the player does not get a hit in his at bat, a run scored when he puts the ball in play will count as a run batted in. An RBI will still be given on an error provided that the potential put out would not have been the third out of the inning. A run scoring on a double play does not qualify as an RBI, however.

Do you get an RBI when there are bases-loaded and you get hit by a pitch HBP or walked?

Yes. Even though an RBI is a run batted in, statistically it still counts as an RBI. That goes for a walk or a hit batsman

How does RBI work?

An RBI works like this, if a batter hit the ball, no matter in what situation ( besides getting out with 2 outs) and if they get out or not but they get a run in, it is an RBI. An RBI stands for runs batted in.

How do you get a RBI?

An RBI, or Run Batted In, is received when a batter gets a base hit and a run comes in.

Does a Hit By Pitch result in a RBI?

yes

Do you get an rbi on an error?

No. An RBI is not awarded on an error. A fielder's choice, a sacrifice, a walk with the bases loaded or a hit. That's about it. A fielding error does not warrant an RBI.

How do you score a ground out with an rbi?

A batter gets an RBI if his groundout scored a runner. The only exception is if the batter hit into a double play, in which case no RBI is given. Of course if the runner scored on an error, and not on the groundout, there is also no RBI.

How do you get a RBI IN bassball?

you hit a batter in to score a run

In baseball is RBI the same as Batting Average?

no way rbi is runs batted in and batting average is your percentage of getting a hit

Does a sac fly count as a at bat?

No, a sacrifice fly does not count as an official at-bat, in order to have an at-bat scored as a sac fly though a runner must advance home safely on your fly ball
