Pivot your wrist just before you release the ball. Pretent you're turning a key that has to be turned to the three o'clock position. As you rotate your hand, release the ball.

you get the ball and swing your arm an let go of it then when you want to catch it you put your hands in the air and just let it go in your arms !!
