The 2014 Dallas Cowboys qualified for the postseason for the 31st time by winning the NFC East division title. They defeated the Detroit Lions, 24-20, in the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs. They were defeated by the Green Bay Packers, the NFC North champions, in the divisional round.
