MoneyThere are many differences in the nba and college games. The main one being the collegiate athletes do not get paid per se in cash. Thay get paid via education and all the opportunities that it brings. Other differences are there to but that's the most notice and talked about one.

College:

20mins halves

7 fouls = 1 and 1

10 fouls = double bonus

College coaches have more control and influence over their teams and players and programs

About 30 games a year

200 teams

5 fouls and youre out of the game

NBA:

12 mins quarters

5 fouls = 1 and 1

zone defense is illegal

About 82 games a year

Only 30 team

6 fouls and youre out of the game...

Just a few for you! =]

They have quarters instead of halfs and the shot clock is smaller or there is no shot clock at all. Three point line is closer in high school.
