For youth Baseball it probably doesn't make that much difference, but for adult baseball (high school ball and higher), metal baseball cleats are allowed and are more effective than plastic football cleats. Plus, they don't wear down as easily.
It all depends on which sport you're going to be playing. If you're playing football, buy football cleats; if you're playing baseball, buy baseball cleats. Here's why: Baseball cleats have a special cleat on the right side of the shoe, allowing a player to better grip the ground as they're pivoting to run bases. Football cleats are also typically longer and sharper than baseball cleats. There's also a toe cleat on football cleats that does not exist on baseball cleats (injury hazard).
Differences in Sports CleatsFootball cleats are the heaviest and most supportive. soccer cleats are light and fit your foot tighter than Baseball or football cleats. . Some soccer cleats are lighter than professional running shoes. Most soccer cleats are very thin but they don't were down easily. Baseball cleats are thicker and they have least pointy spikes because your mostly in the dirt. The most important distinction is that soccer cleats, unlike football and baseball cleats, do not have a cleat on the bottom of the toe.
The difference is that baseball cleats are heavier and most ive seen have metal. Lacrosse cleats are shorter, better, and lighter than baseball cleats. Lacrosse cleats are a mix between soccer and football cleats. And it feels o so right.
"Football cleats give you more support in the midsole than soccer or baseball cleats," says Joseph Skiba, equipment manager for the New York Giants. "This helps with lateral movement and with things like taking hits or making tackles." With a sturdier feel than a soccer cleat, football cleats keep your feet and ankles from turning. This allows for quick movements and helps keep your feet under you when tackling, blocking or taking hits. So it's probably fine to wear football cleats for baseball or soccer, but you shouldn't wear baseball or soccer cleats for football.
All styles of cleats are different depending on brand and preference. The main difference between soccer cleats and cleats for baseball is a "toe spike". Baseball cleats have a spike at the front of the foot, where the toes are to provide traction when taking off running in dirt, whereas, soccer cleats do not have this toe spike, because it would be hard to kick a ball off the ground properly without it getting stuck in the ground. Also soccer cleats are usually more "form fitting" or will have a more sleek and tighter feel to them since you play soccer with your feet, this allows for maximum feeling of control
it depends on u and for me Adi power cleats are better
You can wear football cleats for softball/baseball. They will not perform as well though. Depending on your level of play this may not mean much...less than a tenth of a second in a 90' base path. You CAN NOT wear softball/baseball cleats in most other sports. Baseball cleats are normally flat and metal. They also have a "toe" cleat that works well in loose dirt. This toe cleat can cause injuries in sports like soccer, and is why they are normally banned. Most kids wear football or soccer cleats for all sports due to their interchangability and the cost of buying multiple cleats. Good football cleats often have interchangable cleats, for different field conditions.
F50 cleats they are the best Diego
Football is more popular than baseball by like 20%.
You can wear soccer cleats to play american football but it is less than ideal. Soccer cleats do not have a stud on the toe of the cleat like football cleats do. This make it much easier to run, cut and dig into the grass. Most football cleats are also higher and more supportive than soccer cleats. Although if you are a field goal kicker/ punter or kicker in American Football - they all wear soccer cleats. Basically you CAN wear soccer cleats to play American football but you CAN NOT wear American Football cleats to play Soccer.
if your playing on wet grass then yes
Baseball takes more talent in my mind than Football by a long shot!
