The end of the shaft is bent back 10degrees so you have to buy a crankshaft head which would be leaning forward on a regular straight shaft. You can feel the ball better when its in your head and have a quicker release. I have a K18 crankshaft and it is the favorite stick ive ever owned or used.
Any head will fit on any shaft. But if you but a head on a shaft that is a different brand than the shaft, you may need to drill a new hole into the shaft. The only exceptions are the STX Crankshaft shafts which need certain heads.
get the clutch. cause if u have a deuce why would u get another the answer is good but i have the clutch and i love it get the clutch
im not sure but what type of heads do you like, stx, brine, or warrior?
yes, i have a stx head on a brine shaft. yes, i have a stx head on a brine shaft.
No. The Crankshaft 7075 only works with specific heads, and a Bionic won't fit right.
I would recommend that you do put a crank shaft head on a crank shaft. Putting any other type of head on a crank shaft could possibly break the head.
It has a timing chain. A MAIN timing chain runs around the twin over head cams and crankshaft and a SECONDARY chain (balance shaft chain) runs off the crankshaft to turn the water pump. Both have timing marks and the balance shaft chain runs behind the timing chain.
on the sohc motor it is on the crank shaft pully. on the 2.0 dohc it is located top forward facing part of the block by the flywheel just under the head.
On a pre 1997 with a timing BELT: Turn the crankshaft clockwise until the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley lines up with the dot on the block at the 1 o'clock position. Check the timing mark on the camshaft. The small hole in the sprocket should line up with the dot on the head at the 12 o'clock position. If it is not lined up, turn the crankshaft one more turn, and both marks will line up.
Try taking out the spark plugs first, because turning the crank shaft with the plugs in creates pressure. Or it could be that there is a bent rod and the piston head is in the head wall.
I'm pretty sure any boys head will fit on any boys shaft and any girls head will fit on any girls shaft
