About 16 - 50
Another answer:In the NFL, most players enter the league at about 20 years old, and most are retired by the age of 40. This would make for an average age of around 30. Taking career-ending (or shortening) injuries into account, the true average age in the league is less than that; about 26 or 27.Wiki User
