They are practically the same. I've played both, the only difference is the pitching, the size of the ball, the size of the bats, and if you are playing for leagues or school then boys play baseball and girls play softball.
softball has a bigger ball and despite its name, the official softball is the same hard as a baseball also, the ball is pitched underarm in softball
The difference is a baseball bat has a bigger barrel and its weight is different. The softball bat has a smaller barrel and can be lighter than a baseball bat with the same length. Baseball bats are also usually wooden while softball uses aluminum.
The Bats- The softball bats are called bottle bats because they resemble a bottle, they're maximum barrel width is 2 1/4", while baseball bats, usually have a lesser barrel length, but some can match the softball bats. Although the maximum barrel width is 2 3/4". The Ball- Softballs are a lot bigger than baseballs. The Glove- Softball gloves are usually wider and have deeper pockets to accommodate for the bigger ball.
I guess they are more heavier than softball bats
Softball fields are actually much smaller than baseball fields. This makes softball a faster paced game. It also makes it so that you have to have fast reflexes to play successfully in the infield.
no because the softball is not as firm as a baseball so it would cause less of a force when you hit it which can make it easier to get you out and because the softball is yellow and bigger than a baseball and a baseball is white
yes the softball is heaver bc of the bigger it is. now i don't think a softball is heaver of air mass. but yes a softball is heaver!
no, thethe gravity of a baseball is bigger than a softball's. so baseball has more friction than softball. hence, if you hit both of them from the same speed ,baseball will go further than softball.
I don't think so..a softball is bigger. More mass means more resistance.
a little bigger than a baseball
football anything that is bigger than a softball obiusly...
