The answer is that the mass of the Basketball is larger than the mass of the Baseball. If you throw both balls with the same force, the speed of the baseball will be greater. Acceleration is larger when the speed of an object changes more quickly. The same net force causes the baseball's acceleration to be greater than the basketball's acceleration. If the net force is the same, the acceleration of an object decreases as the mass of an object increases. If you lift with the same force, an empty backpack speeds up more quickly than one that's full.
it depends on the type of throw you have. most boys prefer the baseball because it has less mass so it can go farther, yet it is more compacted so it it is heavier. The soft ball really isn't soft.. trust me ive been hit with it. But it it more spacious and it seems hollow inside meaning there is a lighter material inside. This means the softball is lighter but it is bigger in diamoter than the baseball so it catches more oncoming air, there for making it not go as far... also it sometimes is way to big for those tiny hands.
through close consideration most people would have to come to the conclusion that a soft ball is harder to throw.

Throwing a basketball is much easier (no matter how the ball is thrown) than throwing a Kickball. This answer was derived from numerous scientific studies and the resulting literature is so strong that this is no longer a theory but a scientific law. There is no argument against this statement, so don't even try.
The Bowling ball is a solid material and is intended to be tossed and rolled while the basketball is filled with air and is intended to be thrown, caught, and bounced.
Because - a basketball is intended to be thrown from one person to another - a bowling ball is intended to be aimed at solid wooden pins !

You build your fore arm and bicep muscles. A baseball travels farther in hot weather than in cold weather. Also, whenever you throw, whatever strength you have and whatever the weather is like, you'll get the maxumum distance out of your throw if you aim it 45 degrees above the horizon ... half-way up between level and straight up over your head.
Ted can throw 400ft Johnny can throw 300ft Billy can throw 280ft (70% of 400ft and 20ft less than Johnny)
A spiralling motion football will typically travel farther than a wobbling motion football. The spiral helps stabilize the ball's flight, minimizing air resistance and allowing for greater distance and accuracy in the throw.
it will because of the rubber band. (if homemade) the rubber band will stretch farther and when released it will launch the object farther.
Putting that perfect spin on a football is all about the distance, its the precision it creates. Also the spinning makes the ball fly easier in between air particles, which results in the football being able to fly farther with less friction.
Football is more popular than baseball by like 20%.

Baseball takes more talent in my mind than Football by a long shot!
mo its not the Baseball is hevier
really a regular baseball is easier to throw than a softball
